Description

During the training, participants will delve into the foundations of evaluation and monitoring in the context of CSWB planning. They will learn about various types of evaluation designs and approaches, as well as how to develop logic models and theories of change. Performance indicators will be examined, guiding participants in selecting metrics to assess progress and success. Moreover, they will learn about diverse data collection methods, equipping them with the skills to gather robust data to inform decision-making. The training will also focus on how to share and use evaluation results to drive continuous improvement and accountability within CSWB efforts. Through practical examples, participants will explore evaluation in practice, and they will learn about how to develop comprehensive monitoring and evaluation plans, identifying relevant indicators and data sources. Emphasizing active engagement and discussion, attendees will have opportunities for collaborative learning through breakout room activities and discussions.

Students interested in working with communities in crime prevention/community safety, municipal governance, social development, and community safety and well-being planning.
