Implementation of Community Safety and Well-Being Plans

Description

During the training, participants will learn about the community safety and well-being planning process, beginning with a high-level overview to establish a solid foundation for learning. They will then learn about how to review the plan’s theory of change to inform their action plan, including through identifying strategies, actions, and desired outcomes. The training will equip participants with the knowledge required to develop an action plan, including outlining timelines and assigning responsibilities to ensure accountability and progress tracking. Moreover, governance structures and sustainability will be examined, empowering participants to design robust frameworks for the long-term success of their CSWB plans. The training will provide practical insights into the experience of implementing CWB plans. Emphasizing active engagement and discussion, attendees will have opportunities for collaborative learning through breakout room activities and discussions.
