Development of Community Safety and Well-Being Plans – Team Building & Community Assessment

Description

During the training, participants will gain insights into various facets of community safety and well-being planning. Beginning with a high-level overview, attendees will then learn about the identification of foundational commitments for a CSWB planning process. Moreover, the training will equip participants with the necessary knowledge and resources to conduct comprehensive community safety assessments and engagement, involving both quantitative and qualitative data collection methods. Participants will also learn about analyzing data and identifying priorities for CSWB plans. Emphasis will be placed on fostering ongoing communication with stakeholders and community members, ensuring transparency and inclusivity in the planning process. Attendees will have opportunities for collaborative learning through breakout room activities and discussions.
