During the training, participants will learn about community safety and well-being (CSWB), including systemic factors. The training content will then progress to focus specifically on CSWB in rural settings, acknowledging the importance of a rural focus. Attendees will explore the strengths, challenges, and complexities inherent in ensuring safety and well-being within rural contexts. Through approaches adapted to rural settings, participants will glean insights into effective CSWB strategies. Moreover, the training will feature firsthand accounts and examples of CSWB planning in rural communities. Emphasizing active engagement and discussion, attendees will have opportunities for collaborative learning through breakout room activities and discussions.
